UI/UX Design
NoshBox
NoshBox is a local food marketplace app that connects budget-conscious users with nearby restaurants to provide structured, budget-friendly dining options through daily deals, mystery boxes, and meal plans.
Within the user-side sub-team, I led the interactive and visual design of the pages. My group worked on the user experience and design for meal plans, where users can purchase a set number of meals over a specified timeframe, offering customizable meal options at affordable prices.

when
March 2026 to May 2026
Our task:
Design, prototype, and deliver developer-ready UI/UX assets for NoshBox’s new Meal Plans feature based on defined product requirements.
Tasks and Challenges
Design for completely new product models
Meal Plans are innovative product ideas with unique attributes compared to similar e-commerce platforms such as DoorDash and Instacart.
We need to draw design inspiration from these existing platforms for user familiarity and an intuitive experience.
Integrate within an established design system
NoshBox already has a design system, iconography, and navigation structure. This new feature should seamlessly integrate into them.
We need to combine existing designs, iterate upon existing designs, and create entirely new components.
Adapt my own design style
This is the first time I am designing with a team and for an app, where I may want to do things differently and disagree with some choices.
I need to design with a new perspective, adapt to new styles, and work collaboratively with other designers.
Information Architecture

Referencing pages of written user flows and feature descriptions, we constructed a detailed information architecture.
Clearly distinguishing between the two types of meal plans was imperative to prevent user confusion.
Establishing a Design Language
Color Theming
Weekly and Rolling plans are assigned separate colors for visual separation.
Simplicity
Symbols, shapes, and visual metaphors simplify information.
Ease of Use
Cross-platform components are designed to be familiar and intuitive to users.
My Design Work for NoshBox
I will only showcase my own contributions to this project.

Notes and Comments:
I drew inspiration from iOS 26 components for shapes.
Color theming is present throughout each meal plan.
Icons are SF Symbols and (modified) Streamline icons.
Many of these designs guided development of NoshBox's 2.0 app. I was uninvolved with the shipped design.
